Natalie Smith joined Phillipson & Uretsky as a law clerk in 2011.
Ms. Smith is a current third year Dean?s List student at Fordham University School of Law, New York. At Fordham Law, she is a member of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy team, volunteer teacher for the Legal Education and Advocacy Project, and board member of Law Students Against Trafficking. Ms. Smith was a recipient of a Fordham Student Sponsored Fellowship for her first-year summer.
She has interned at various legal organizations including the United States Attorney?s Office in the Southern District of New York, the King?s County District Attorney?s Office, the Westchester County District Attorney?s Office, and the New York City Law Department. At the New York City Law Department, Ms. Smith worked in the Family Court division and conducted juvenile proceedings, including arraignments, dispositional hearings, and trial.
Ms. Smith graduated from New York University in 2008 with honors in Politics and minor in History. She was an active participant in the NYU Lawyer Alumni Mentoring Program and volunteer teacher for the High School Law Institute. After completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Smith spent time in Thailand teaching English.
